Facebook decides to play the sharing game

In a move that could lead to widespread new freedoms for tens of millions of users of online social networking sites, Facebook has agreed to join a workgroup that could open up the so-called "walled garden" and allow users to move their data, content and utilities seamlessly among other networks.
